![]() Dr. Adya S. Tripathi Founder, Chairman & CTO Dr. Adya S. Tripathi was the founder, President & CEO of Tripath Technology, Inc. for over 10 years. Tripath Technology was a publicly traded company with a staff of 200 and a valuation of over $1B at its peak. As an innovator of Digital Amplification technology, the company filed over 100 US Patents, many of which were authored by Dr. Tripathi himself. Dr. Tripathi was heralded as the technical visionary behind the company's products, which were widely adopted by market leaders in the consumer electronics business, including Sony, Panasonic, Sharp, Toshiba, Hitachi, Sanyo, Samsung, Alpine, Apple Computer and Bose. Prior to founding Tripath Technology, Inc., Dr. Tripathi worked at several Silicon Valley companies including IBM, Hewlett Packard, and National Semiconductor, in various technical and management positions. He received his B.Tech, and M.Tech degrees in Electronics Engineering from Banaras Hindu University, in India, and pursued graduate work in Electrical Engineering at the University of Nevada Reno, and the University of California, Berkeley, receiving his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the former in May 1984. R. Scott Bailey President and Chief Executive Officer Prior to joining Tula, Mr. Bailey was Vice President and General Manager, Gasoline Engine Management Systems for Delphi Powertrain. In this role he was responsible for Delphi’s gasoline engine management systems business, a global organization that provided customers with innovative products to optimize engine efficiency, emissions and performance. Mr. Bailey began his career with General Motors Corp. in 1977 and later transitioned to Delphi. He has extensive experience in all phases of engineering, having served in key leadership positions at the product line and divisional levels. He has also started up numerous technical centers, manufacturing plants and joint ventures around the globe, and has served on the Boards of Directors for five international joint ventures in the automotive sector. Mr. Bailey holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard University. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers where he served on the executive leadership team for the North American International Powertrain Conference. Mr. Bailey has also been a frequent speaker on various panels covering powertrain and alternative energy trends.
